What is Threadlift?
A minimally invasive lunch-time procedure where we use dissolvable threads placed under the skin to lift and tighten, giving a youthful appearance almost immediately.
Are Threadlifts safe?
Yes, they are completely safe. We use PDO threads, which are biodegradable and FDA approved for its safety. These little threads gradually dissolve in 8-10 months.
Am I a Good Candidate for Threadlift?
The ideal candidate is someone between 35-55 who doesn't have significant signs of aging but are just wanting to look slightly younger or replenish the V shape in their lower face. At your consultation, we will discuss your unique features and discuss whether it is right for you.
How long does the treatment take?
The procedure takes about 1 hour under local anesthesia.
How long is the recovery?
Most patients are able to return to their normal routine right away. Swelling takes about 3-5 days to resolve. During the following 2 weeks, we recommend avoiding massaging of the face and strenuous exercise.
How long do the results last?
Results last 10-12 months. Up to 18 months for some.
Are there risks or side effects?
The risks and side effects are rare and minor and include bruising, pigmentation, and infection.
